Viviana explores contemporary perception and ways of inhabiting a multilayered era across physical and virtual realms. Her practice is rooted in an interest in fragmentation and the subtle emotional states that emerge within everyday experience.

These concerns are articulated through sculpture, taking the form of intuitive, abstract works shaped by direct bodily engagement with material. The sculptures are further translated through scanning processes, fragmented into digital data and reconfigured through distortion, allowing physical matter and digital image to continuously inform one another.

She develops materials through sustained experimentation, testing how matter responds to pressure, time, and transformation. Through this tactile and volumetric visual language, she embraces ambiguity, distortion, and rupture as integral conditions of contemporary existence.

Through her practice, she aims to invite reflection on how identity and perception are shaped, broken, and continually remade within a contemporary reality.

전하영은 물리적 세계와 가상 세계로 구성된 다층적인 현시대의 동시대적 인식과 그 안에 거주하는 방식들을 탐구한다. 그녀의 작업은 파편화와 일상 속에서 미묘하게 발생하는 감정의 상태에서 출발한다. 이러한 관심은 조각을 매개로 구체화되며, 재료와의 직접적 신체 접촉을 통해 형성된 추상적인 형태로 드러난다. 조각은 이후 스캔 과정을 거쳐 디지털 데이터로 분절되고, 왜곡을 통해 재구성되며, 이 과정 속에서 물질적 실체와 디지털 이미지가 서로를 지속적으로 영향을 주고받는다.

그녀는 지속적인 실험을 통해 재료를 개발하며, 물질이 압력과 시간, 그리고 변형에 어떻게 반응하는지를 시험한다. 이러한 촉각적이고 입체적인 시각 언어를 통해, 그녀는 모호함과 왜곡, 균열을 동시대적 존재 조건의 본질적인 요소로 받아들인다. 그녀의 작업은 동시대 현실 속에서 정체성과 인식이 어떻게 형성되고, 붕괴되며, 다시 끊임없이 재구성되는지를 사유하도록 초대한다.
